What's the difference? (On Hyderabad Blasts)

Will there be any change if I write this blog? Will they ever come back to us if I share my feelings with all of you? Will those insanes change their acts after going through this one? Will the authority shake their complacency and be alert after looking at the unfogettable pics showing how the heart-wrecking reactions could be of fathers, mothers, brothers and sisters and others of those nowhere people?

But still we have to carry our spirit. We have to show others that nothing happened. It's just another stray incident. We are actually desparately trying to brush off this clear and present danger. Coz we don't have any other options.

We know pretty well that one them could be you,me, any one of us. That our city can be turned into Hyderabad any day any moment. That apparently benign black plastic carry bag over there in the scooter, under the seat of the bus or train or any where right in front of our eyes could make us a bag of garbages in a bang.

And from the feeling of that strong possibility of being metamorphosised from somebody to nobody, we are raising our voice, calling bandhs, protesting for those heinous acts, arranging rallies and what not. And for those VVIPs, security arrangements are made more stringent.  It gears up from X to Y to Z category and higher.

What do you think?  Will we survive? It is impossible because to be alert 24x7x365 is an absurd proposition. They know well when the knots are loosen and when you feel complacent and start thinking  that now every thing is o.k. They also know when   the most dreadful syndrom 'this cannot be happened with me' overflows our senses. They strike to tear everything apart--our bodies, our souls......our faiths.

Have you ever felt that each of us is completely alone in this crowd? It is felt when we are in danger and seek others help. Living some exceptions as in most of the cases-- it is true. Even in that blast site one of the survivors who somehow managed to crawl out from the Gokul Chat Centre felt horrified to see that his cell phone and gold chain had been snatched!!!

Still this life goes on just the same. We are busy now finding reasons. Politicians are storming their brains and flexing brawns

in showcasing their good intentions. They are the loners too. One bad move and they could be history--they know it. So it is not those lives they are thinking of, it is the number of votes that they count. So we should not disturb them to ask those silly questions what Dylan asked before :

“.......how many ears must one man have
Before he can hear people cry?

........ how many deaths will it take till he knows
That too many people have died?

.......how many times can a man turn his head,
Pretending he just doesn't see?”

So, by now we all have learnt  the ground reality that we the common people have to live in our own way. When we would be in danger  we must bank on those people around. We know, there we may find the saviours who will rescue us to the safest place.  That happened in that blast incident too. They are the ‘Rainbow People’—always ready to stretch their helping hands for those who need them at their most vulnerable state.

So let’s swear next time when we have the chance to help a victim, we mustn’t leave the place. We must not be inactive but must try to clear the danger out of him.

Will you touch the screen and swear?

Just for everyone living ?

Remember that includes you too.....
